STARZ Announces Premiere of First Weekly Interview Series “Fat Joe Talks” Featuring Method Man

STARZ announced the launch of its first weekly interview series, Fat Joe Talks, premiering Friday, October 4, 2024. Hosted by Grammy-nominated artist and cultural icon Fat Joe, the series kicks off with Method Man, the award-winning artist and star of Power Book II: Ghost, as its inaugural guest. The premiere episode will feature Method Man reflecting on his role as Davis MacLean following the closing of the critically acclaimed series, as well as discussing his career in hip-hop and the legacy of Wu-Tang Clan.

Filmed in Method Man’s hometown of Staten Island, New York, the episode explores Method Man’s personal and professional journey, visiting meaningful locations from his life. Fat Joe and Method Man also delve into the challenges of balancing a high-profile career with family life, offering viewers an intimate look into the legendary rapper’s life.

Fat Joe Talks will release new episodes every Friday at midnight on the STARZ app and at 9:00 PM ET/PT on linear in the U.S., with a 11:00 PM ET airing in Canada. The series will feature a variety of prominent figures, including Oscar-nominated actress and singer Mary J. Blige, actor T.I., Grammy-winning producer Babyface, and political leader Hakeem Jeffries.

Fat Joe, who has become a prominent media personality, expressed his excitement for the new venture: “I’ve been preparing all my life for the moment to host my own show, and it’s finally here. We are going to make history, and I’m grateful to STARZ for believing in the vision. Get your popcorn ready.”
