BLACKSTREET’s “The Global Pass” Signals a Bold New Chapter in Global R&B Performance

BLACKSTREET

BLACKSTREET is proving that legendary music groups can still create fresh cultural moments, and their newly announced “The Global Pass” is a perfect example. The GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum R&B group is set to headline an ambitious three-day concert run across Africa, Europe, and North America this June, delivering a rare live music experience that reflects both their historic legacy and their present-day momentum.

The international concert series begins June 18 in Casablanca, Morocco at Velodrome Park, continues June 19 at The O2 Arena in London, and closes June 20 in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, where BLACKSTREET will headline the Freedom Vibes Juneteenth Festival at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The London concert adds even more star power, as BLACKSTREET will share the stage with TLC and Jodeci, creating a major night for fans of classic 1990s R&B.

This concert run is more than a travel-heavy tour stop schedule. It is positioned as a major global statement. By connecting audiences across three continents in three consecutive days, BLACKSTREET is celebrating the timeless appeal of their sound while also showing how their music continues to connect with a younger generation. Their signature hit “No Diggity” remains one of the most recognizable R&B songs in music history, and its ongoing popularity has helped fuel the group’s continued relevance in the streaming era.

The numbers behind BLACKSTREET’s influence remain impressive. According to the announcement, “No Diggity” held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks, has surpassed 25 million units worldwide across sales, downloads, and streaming equivalents, and entered Spotify’s Billions Club in December 2025. The group’s broader catalog has earned Gold and Platinum certifications in ten countries, with more than 7 million physical albums sold worldwide and over 4.6 billion global streams.

What makes this feature especially exciting is BLACKSTREET’s growing multigenerational reach. Their current audience includes a strong percentage of listeners under 34, proving that the group’s music is not simply living on nostalgia alone. Instead, BLACKSTREET is experiencing a renewed wave of discovery across streaming platforms, global cities, and new fan communities.

In a statement tied to the announcement, the group shared their excitement about connecting with fans across continents through what they described as a “marathon of music.” That energy fits the scale of this event. From Casablanca to London to Texas, “The Global Pass” reflects a rare blend of legacy, endurance, and modern cultural relevance.
